They walk into a room and find Eleanor treating a patient named Fern. Kate expresses that she feels guilty for what happened to the people of Richmond since her van struck the wall and caused walkers to enter Richmond. The real Kate comes and kills the walker.Īfter Javi, David, and Kate find Clem and Gabe, they go into a nearby building for shelter. Overcome with shock after realizing it isn't Kate, David gets attacked by the walker. David sees a walker resembling Kate and approaches it. He finds David and they both look for Kate. Javier runs to the van and finds it empty and searches for Kate. The game returns to the present, where Richmond is thrown into chaos due to a breach in their walls. Javier can either promise that he will look out for him or refuse to make such a promise.

David asks him about potential treatment, but he has already turned it down. Salvador admits he didn't want to tell his family about his condition. David snatches the paper to read himself, then they both confront Salvador on why he did not tell his family about him having cancer. He curiously takes it out and examines what is written on it. When Javier picks up Salvador's wallet, he notices a folded piece of paper inside. David wins, and has Javier and Salvador pay him $10 each. In a flashback, Javier, David, and Salvador are playing dominoes.

The Walking Dead: A New Frontier, Episode 3 - "Above the Law" will be available for download on a range of platforms on March 28. There's no guarantee they will, but the crossover between the comic pages and the game adaptation is becoming a larger part of the narrative, so there's a solid chance Alexandria isn't far off. However, we can tell you that getting a look at the world beyond Rick's Survivors has always been a big draw, but now that Telltale's games are drawing closer to that group, we're already thinking about how the two will potentially match up in the coming chapters. Without delving into spoilers, it's a bit hard to explain why we're looking forward to the upcoming installment. Particularly because this trailer alludes to some more big twists and revelations to come. We quite enjoyed the start of the new season, and finally getting a chance to see where this story goes next has on the edge of our seats with anticipation.

The developer knows how to craft a fine cliffhanger though, and even if the last moments of "Ties That Bind" were a little predictable, they still hit like a ton of bricks. It's been a good three months since we last saw Javier, Clementine and the rest of the new cast from season three of Telltale's The Walking Dead.
